Advantages of induction lighting

Our bulb in this lantern GETS 80 W

and gives 70% savings

the old light bulb takes 250 W

  • All of these - 1.2.3.4. - the advantages make the environment illuminated by our light more visible to the human eye than in the case of other light sources, making people staying in such an environment at night less exposed to accidents and dangers.

  • Another advantage of induction light is the degree of color rendering Ra> 80, which means that objects illuminated at night have very natural colors. Induction light also has a high rate of light reception at night by the human eye - Scotopic / Photopic (S / P) index = 2.25.

  • The result is that with the same bulb power and the number of lumens per watt, we get more light visible to the human eye. Scotopic vision (night vision) - a term denoting the work of the human organ of vision in extremely unfavorable conditions, i.e. with a negligible amount of light. In other words, all types of light other than induction give less visibility with comparable power consumption, which translates into greater savings due to the replacement of light with induction.

  • The height of the S / P ratio - it is the ratio of night vision in relation to day vision.

  • The main advantage of induction lighting over all other types of lighting is its durability. The life of the induction lamp is up to 100,000 hours, which is about 20 years. Thanks to this, additional savings are generated due to the lack of frequent purchase of light sources and the associated significant costs of bulb replacement - an hour of operation of the crane at least PLN 50 per one bulb. For example, during the lifetime of our induction lamp, the sodium lamp or the LED lamp should be replaced 6 times on average. A comparison of the lighting lifetime is shown in the chart below.

  • From the point of view of people in the vicinity of induction lighting, the main difference between other types of lighting is the quality and softness of the light and the very low degree of glare and flicker. Even modern LED lighting produces a powerful spotlight that can blind the person below it. Induction light gives: 1. evenly diffused light that 2. does not flicker and 3. does not dazzle. Also, shadows cast by objects illuminated by an induction source are 4. less deep and less visible.

  • Based on the above distribution of the S / P ratio, the efficiency of different types of lighting can be compared.

  • Energy saving: up to 80% less energy consumption compared to ordinary mercury lamps and 50% compared to hid lamps.

  • High luminous efficacy: photopic: above 85 lm / w, scotopic: 180 pupil lumen / W.

  • High color rendering index (cri): Ra ≥ 85.

  • High power factor: PF> 0.99.

  • On / Off: no delay.

  • Available light colors: 2700k, 3500k, 5000k, 6500k.

  • Low harmonic value factor (THD): <5% as per class C.

  • Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC): Meets CE standard.

  • No flicker or glare: less eye strain.

  • Operation at low temperatures: reliable start even at - 40o C and + 50 o C.
